Working away at new things!

So I have been trying to create new things, some look awesome, some need work and some, honestly, I don't even know what they are yet, lol

Take this little guy here, my first attempt at a figure of any kind. And I think he looks adorable! Look at that awesome little belly and that little smile on his weird baby troll like head. Just want to hug him, lol.

Then we have this weird thing, it was a total fail from what I was trying to make, but it is weirdly interesting, yet unwearable and not very charmlike either. I'm still working on it!

Then there is this awesome bracelet I am calling the Ruffle. For some reason it reminds me of the front of those ruffly tuxedo shirts men used to wear in the 70's. Regardless, the picture doesn't do it justice I don't think, but it is fantastic! AND it's made all on one loom with even pin bars. Even better! :)

Then we have this ADORABLE little turtle guy! It has a complete shell, with a belly and a rounded top. It has a weird little turtle like face and cute stubby legs. And don't forget the little tail too! I think I made like 10 faces before I found one I liked. Having not really made figures before and only having glanced at other tutorials for figures, I wanted to try to make my own. I'd say I did alright! :)

Of course the tutorials for these things will be coming soon, except that weird thingy. Have to figure that out yet. I hope you will check back soon! :)

Perfect Petal Flower Charm

Another cute flower to add to the mix! It's petals are independent of each other on the center unlike the earlier ones. The possibilities for colors are endless! I think that I'm just really missing spring, so I keep making things that remind me of warmer days with no shoveling. Of course, then there is raking and mowing....

I love how the center of the flower is kind of frilly and the petals are well defined. I hope you enjoy another cute little flower to add to your bouquet! :)

Fish Net Bracelet Tutorial

It's been a long time coming, but I have the tutorial for the Fishnet Bracelet now ready for your viewing and looming pleasure! I had actually made this tutorial once before, but I thought the bracelet I made was so ugly that I had to start over. This time I think that I made a great looking bracelet and the tutorial isn't too bad either, lol!

It's not too complicated to make the bracelet, just takes 2 looms to do so and I do show how to extend it as well. I hope you enjoy it! It really is a neat looking bracelet!

The tutorial can be found here:

Enjoy!

Bubble Bracelet Tutorial

This bracelet was the first on the road to figuring out how to do my Stained Glass bracelet. It's very easy to do. It would be done easiest on 5 pin bars, but in this tutorial I show how to do it on 3 so that anyone can make it! Don't forget to try to double the bands! It looks great that way too! :)

Enjoy!

Large Granny Square Tutorial

I finally have been able to get some more tutorials done! School cancelled, bad weather, sick kids...just makes it hard to get anything else done. I have quite a few tutorials coming up for some great bracelets and a few adorable charms.

Right now though, I'm ready to present my Large Granny Square Tutorial. I make a nice goof forgetting to loop a band, but it all works out in the end. I love crocheting, so it only made sense to make this piece. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I also show a great new way to close it using a large hook and
eye.

Enjoy!

Star Charm Tutorial!!

Who doesn't love a cute little star?

Especially an adorable one like this!

I LOVE this little star. It is made all on one loom in my lovely complicated way, lol.

We're heading out of town today, so I thought I would share this with everyone before I left. I hope you enjoys it!

Thank You for stopping by!

Puff Stitch Bracelet Tutorial

I have an adorable bracelet to share with you! I'm calling it the Puff Stitch because it reminds me of a puff stitch in crochet; how if you push on the back of your group of stitches, the front kind of pops out creating a puff.

This bracelet is made entirely on one loom, with pin bars even. Although, making it on one loom is not long enough to go all the way around your wrist, so I include instructions on how to extend it, which is super easy! I hope you will give it a try!

Enjoy!

Anemone Flower Charm Tutorial

This flower Charm is called the Anemone ([uh-nem-uh-nee]) Flower Charm. It's kind of like the big brother to the Stoneseed flower Charm. It's petals are filled in which allows you to add more colors and the petals still kind of have the fringe quality to them.

Again, this is made all on one loom, moving the center along the side of the loom so you have one complete flower at the end. If you made the Stoneseed Flower Charm, you will definitely be able to make this one because it's almost exactly the same layout!

I hope you like this flower as well! So on to the tutorial!! :)

Enjoy!

One Loom Herringbone Tutorial + How to extend it on one loom!

So exciting! I always love when I'm able to share how to make one of my many loom bracelets onto just one loom. I really want everyone to enjoy my designs and figuring out how to do this is the best way I can do that.

It's actually pretty easy to do. Although, I do take apart the loom to do this, I don't think that a transfer would be too difficult to do because of the end caps that go down the middle.

And the really exciting part is that I show you how to extend this bracelet using just ONE loom too! So you can make it as long as you like!

As always, thanks for stopping by! There's more to come, so check back! :)

Extending the Herringbone Bracelet

I have finally completed this tutorial! I'm sorry it took me so long to do it! I think that a lot of the complication or confusion that makes this bracelet hard to extend is because of how the stripes change directions. When the bands are on the loom, they all point like this: \/ but when you take it off the loom they change directions and point like this /\. I'm sure it's just the tension in the bands that makes it do that, but because of that, I think it is confusing as to how to attach it...but I am going to show you how!

Enjoy my tutorial on how to extend my Herringbone Bracelet made on 5 pin bars. Thanks for stopping by!!

Stoneseed Flower Charm Tutorial

So this is the next step in my flower creations. A little bigger layout on the loom, some overlapping, but all in all not too complicated, especially if you figured out how to do the Primrose Flower Charm.

I went with the name Stoneseed because there actually is a flower by that name, it's usually yellow and it's petals have frilly ends on them, like this one does. I just think this is a cute little flower and it's really not that difficult to make!

I have many more flower charms coming soon as well as some other little charms and of course, many more bracelet designs to share.

I really love and appreciate that you take the time to visit my blog! As always, if you have any questions, make sure to let me know! :)

Now, my tutorial for the Stoneseed Flower Charm! Enjoy!

Thanks Again!

Primrose Flower Charm Tutorial

Since there appears to be a technical error in the sound of the Infinity Stained Glass bracelet, I am posting this tutorial a little earlier than I had planned, but isn't that life? lol

This flower charm was the start of many others. I am very much looking forward to sharing the rest of them as well! Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy!

Infinity Stained GlasBracelet Tutorial

So, I finally have a compromise for the Stained Glass bracelet. Before, in order to make the bracelet long enough, you needed to figure out how to extend it, which is difficult or have 6 looms to make it long enough in the first place. I had thought before that I had solved part of the issue by making the bracelet on 1 loom, which reduced the need from 3 looms to just 1. But now, I still had the issue of not having it long enough. Sure if you have 2 looms you can make the bracelet long enough by just extending the pattern. (Only need to have 1 1/2 loom lengths to make a bracelet long enough to go around your wrist.) But many people still only have 1 loom so how to semi solve the issue?

I have started to use the loom sideways in order to make fuller size bracelets on just one loom. Starting there, I figured out how to make the diamond shape needed and I eventually came up with the Stained Glass Infinity bracelet. It's basically a sideways chunk of the Stained Glass bracelet. It's made ALL on one loom and can be made as long as you want. The repeating pattern is pretty easy once you get it down. I do take apart the loom to accomplish all this. I'm still not sure of the reception my taking apart of the loom is getting, but it makes things so much easier. No removing and reattaching to get a full sized result.

As you can see above, it is not the exact bracelet, but it is very similar. In order to make it wider and fuller, adding pieces into the sides helps, as shown below. I will work on a tutorial for that in the future.

Without further ado, I present to you my tutorial for my Stained Glass Infinity bracelet on ONE loom! :)

Lacy Heart Charm Tutorial

Someone commented on my YouTube video for my Flying Kaleidoscope Charm that if I just made the top part it would be a really cute heart. I tried it and it looked like someone sat right on top of it and smashed it. Not so pretty....So, I fixed it and came up with my Lacy Heart Charm! And I think it is adorable!! And it will be out just in time for Valentine's Day!

I hope you will take a look and make one for your sweetheart!

Flying Kaleidoscope (Butterfly) Charm!!!

I am SOOO excited about this charm!!! It is the first that I have made and I think it is absolutely beautiful! It looks almost exactly like a butterfly, it has veining, colors and itty bitty antennae! AND it is made entirely on one loom! This has the beginnings of my new technique I'm going to call layering, which allows me to get a full size result on one loom. AND the entire tutorial is real time, which I know that many people will like.

I have several other charms in the works as well, particularly flowers. We can always have more flowers, maybe it will make Spring come a little sooner! I also have a new bracelet that I know everyone will love! That video is currently uploading, so it should be out soon!

I really hope you like this charm as much as I do. I present you with my tutorial for my Flying Kaleidoscope (Butterfly) Charm.

Thanks for stopping by!! Come back again soon!

Granny Square Rainbow Loom Bracelet Tutorial

I thought it was about time to release another tutorial! And it is one of my favorites, the Granny Square! I love this bracelet! Maybe because of my love of crochet, which is behind much of the inspiration I have for the bracelets I design, is why it is one of my favorites.

It's done on 4 pin bars wide and in the tutorial I show you how to make it one loom length. Now you will most likely want to extend it so I would suggest watching my tutorial for how to extend the Checkerboard bracelet to get an idea of how to do so, it's the same basic principal of getting it back on the loom, un-looping some of the bands and just putting it back together.

I'm working on several different tutorials at the moment and I hope that you will be pleased once I finish them. I even decided to make a little charm that I think is absolutely adorable!

So, I hope you enjoy this bracelet as much as I do. In the future I will show how to add the beads and such to the middle. For now, ENJOY this my tutorial for the Granny Square bracelet!

Let me know if you have any questions!!

Zipper Rainbow Loom Bracelet Tutorial

I actually came up with this bracelet on accident. I was trying to figure out another bracelet and how I could manipulate it to work on less looms, but I think it worked out after all. I am kind of nervous that this bracelet has been done before because it really is soo simple in design but that I just haven't seen it yet. I know that for as long as I have been looking on Facebook, Google, Instagram, YouTube and so on, I haven't seen this bracelet that I recall. So, I am keeping it and calling it the Zipper, because it looks like the middle is zipped up.

And what really makes me excited is that this bracelet is done on only one loom AND it is stretchy enough to go all the way around your wrist without an extension!!! Of course, though, I had a nice fail while making this video. I wanted to show what it would be like to add beads in a different way so you can't see the openings, I sure did that, but I managed to change the entire look of the bracelet so it wasn't even recognizable. But, I couldn't just throw the video out because I said I would show everyone how to add the beads the different way and maybe in my fail, it won't happen to anyone else. That is my fail below, but I still really liked it, so I'm calling it the Vine, lol.

Without further ado, my tutorial for the Zipper Rainbow Loom bracelet!

As always, ENJOY!!
